Hello,
I have quite a few videos; for some, I had the good idea to rename and date them, but not for others.
After several backups or computer changes, only the modification date appears when I right-click on properties, but not the original creation date.
The same goes for photos.
How can we find this date?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I don't know of a solution for videos except in video editing software for native digital videos when you click on the film thumbnail, the software gives you aammjj hhmmss. Provided that the videos are original.
However, for Jpeg photos, you should know that the file contains two files, one of which is an exif file that contains all the characteristics (camera, brand model, shutter speed, ..... and date and time aammjj hhmmss)
There is a free software called Namexif that can read this file and rename your photos. You can even add one or more suffixes like anniversary, family, etc...
If these are original and unedited photos, you will be able to retrieve all this information (a necessary condition is that the camera's date and time have been updated correctly).
Best regards
