I can't change the icon of certain folders.

Hello,

I am changing the icon of my folders in Windows 7, but I can't change the icons of folders such as Windows, Desktop, Contacts, etc.

Is there a solution to this problem,
because changing the icons helps me better orient myself and is sometimes more visually pleasing,

    Which Edition of Windows do you have? (Starter, Home, Pro, or the complete version)?

    It is possible that there are restrictions; I remember trying the same thing on XP, but some folders kept their icons.

    I have the starter and I can't do it either. I think the system shortcuts can't change the icon.

      We couldn't do it with an autorun, I just don't know what to write for it to work.

    Certain icons cannot be changed since no other solution currently exists in this forum.
