PDF creator printing issue

Hello,

For a few days now, I have been unable to use PDF creator. After a lot of research, I haven't found any solution.

I have uninstalled (with Glary Utilities) and reinstalled both the old and new versions, but nothing works, the print manager indicates "this document could not be printed."

When I print a test page from PDF creator options, there are no issues.

However, when printing from various software (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, Word Pad), the printer appears fine, but the same problem persists.

Hello, the problem likely doesn't come from pdf creator, but from the printer. Have you checked if it might be blocked by documents in queue or some other printing issue?

Thank you for the response, but there are no documents stuck on my printer.  Any other possibility???

What version of PDF Creator is it?
I use V:0.9.3 with XP
And with 7 you need the new compatible version, otherwise you get an error.

Otherwise uninstall it completely from the control panel - "Add/Remove" and also delete it from c:\program files

And try to reinstall it...

Otherwise again, if you open PDF Creator, and drop the file to convert, does it work?

And one last chance, you can convert Word files to PDF from Microsoft Office.

I am using Windows XP
I have tried with different versions including V.0.9.3, and it does not work.

I tried uninstalling from the control panel and still have the same problem

When I drop the file to convert, it does not work

From Microsoft Word 2000, I cannot convert the file directly to PDF, I believe I need to go through the PDF CREATOR printer.

Another idea???

Did you make sure to choose the "standard" option and not the "server"?

Indeed, under Office 2000, there is no save as PDF option like in Office 2007.

Ouh.. wow lol... I just installed it and it works... perfectly

Create another user account to test, sometimes it can be linked to the user profile...

Oh by the way, are you able to print documents on your local printers?

If you can't, it might be the "print spooler" service....

I am an administrator, so I don't think it's a profile issue.

My local printers are working perfectly.

I installed cutpdf, it works, so I suppose my spooler is working too.

I also installed it on another XP computer, and it works great!

Honestly, I don't understand anything anymore.

Administrator is also a user profile... Please test by creating another user account lol...  I can't see it either lol... An antivirus scan? Or maybe reinstalling the PC lol

Check the error messages, if any, in the PDFCreator log (window "Print Monitor") right after launching a print job that does not come out.

If there are no messages, it means that the data is not reaching the spooler. Make sure that the print port still exists and that the PDFCreator printer is correctly pointing to it.
