Good evening,
I am connected via a red Ethernet port to the Livebox and since then eMule is on Low ID. I would like to know the configuration to switch eMule to High ID. Previously, I was connected via USB and I had configured my Livebox as well as the internet protocol (TCP/IP). Do I need to go through that as well?
Thank you for your insights.

LOOK IN THE FIREWALL OF THE LIVE BOX AND IF IT'S AN INVENTEL, SET IT TO MINIMUM.
Hello everyone. I've set up my ports; TCP=52036, UDP=52046. I'm connected to my Livebox via Wi-Fi. I also have a first computer that is connected to the Livebox with a cable, and it also has eMule running. In the configuration settings under the "LAN server" tab (with my computer connected via Wi-Fi), I add the TCP and UDP ports. I hit "apply," and it tells me "your request has been accepted." I save my changes, then I "restart my Livebox." My firewall is also initialized. I turn off and turn on eMule, and I'm still on low ID. What should I do? Please explain it to me.
Comment trouver les chiffres "du port au port" pour la configuration de ma livebox Sagem, j'ai XP Pro. Merci encore.
Hi everyone. I have the Orange live box and I'm still unable to configure eMule, can you help me?
My TCP port: 59960 and UDP: 7231. Thank you in advance.

I have set up the livebox as indicated later. But I can't connect to all the servers even though I have a high ID. And it takes a tremendous amount of time when I manage to connect. Is that normal?

Thanks to this site, I configured my Orange Livebox.
It explains everything and is very well detailed; it's a bit long, but the result is there.

Well, avoid telling nonsense
Step by step configuration of eMule
1: Set your IP address here ==> http://ipfixe.emule-french.org/ipfixe/ipfixe.htm
2: Check that your TCP ports are set to ==> 45550 and your UDP to 45560 (these ports need to be applied in your eMule, Livebox, firewall)
3: Configure the XP firewall here ==> http://firewall.emule-french.org/winXP.htm or the one for Vista, actually both (yes, Vista has a second hidden firewall) look here ==> http://firewall.emule-french.org/firewalls/vista/vista.htm
4: Configure your Livebox here ==> http://routeurs.emule-french.org/routeurs/livebox.htm
5: Configure your antivirus here ==> http://firewall.emule-french.org/
6: On this page, section download, download the XP or Vista patch because it removes the limit that Windows sets for a connection
7: Finally, test your connection to prevent eMule from saturating it, do that here ==> http://config.emule-french.org/test/test.htm and report your results on this page ==> http://config.emule-french.org/ your results should be reported in eMule preferences/connection where your TCP and UDP ports are located
Lastly, do not give the links of eMule-inside, the site is no longer updated and has been hacked

It's true that the tutorial is good but it needs some corrections (under Vista).. It may seem a bit complicated for a non-initiated person

Hello
for configuration issues related to eMule, a new topic would need to be created as this one is marked as resolved if you want to get a response to your problem
kind regards

I will help to the best of my knowledge, but don't ask me for the impossible, I won't be able to do it.

Hello,
I followed the configuration for eMule, however, I am still on lowID and I don't understand why because I have configured my firewall and my router.
If someone could help me, that would be great because it's taking me excessively long to download.
Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I will try to help you configure your Livebox for eMule, normally you should be able to achieve your goals.
- Launch your internet manager/dashboard/manage my Livebox/access the configuration pages, enter 'admin' for the username and the same for the password, validate.
- Configuration/advanced/router, add
Fill in the fields as follows:
service: emule_tcp protocol: emule_tcp external port: 4661 internal port: 4661 for the server IP address, enter yours. Validate and add. Do the same:
- server: emule_udp protocol: emule_udp internal port: 4672 external port: 4672 same for the server IP address. Validate and exit. Launch eMule, go to preferences, connection, in client port 4661 for TCP and 4672 for UDP, apply. In the wizard, choose based on your internet connection. Still on the same page, set limitR to maximum and limitE to minimum as long as it doesn't decrease the first one, apply. Leave from connection but stay in preferences, go to web server and click on the active box. Shut down and relaunch, it's done.
PS: don't forget to open the ports in the firewall and disable user account control.
Once the files are downloaded, remove them from the incoming folder and go to sharing and reload. Avoid sharing your files too much; it's unnecessary. If you still have issues, send me a detailed email of your problem, I will respond to you.

Hi
from what I can see, you seem to know what you're talking about and I don't
I have the Livebox and for a while it was working well and all of a sudden
Emule offered me an update that I accepted and since then everything has been glitching and I can't install it
could you please help me because I AM ABOUT TO BREAK DOWN.
THANK YOU A THOUSAND TIMES

Hi steph38,
- First, you need to tell me where you got your old version of eMule.
- Also, which Livebox do you have? Sagem, Inventel, or Mini? I'm asking this because for the Mini, we don't set the local IP.
- Check your TCP and UDP ports in eMule under Preferences/Connection to make sure they match those of your router and your antivirus/firewall.
- Finally, try re-downloading the binary ==> http://download.emule-french.org/eMule0.49c.zip <== here to update your Mule.
- Also, update your server list ==> http://serveurs.emule-french.org/
There you go. If you have any other problems concerning eMule, I invite you to join us via the eMule IRC :p
