Epson Stylus Photo R300 Printer Error

Hello,
I installed my Epson Stylus Photo R300 printer, but when I turn it on, an ERROR message appears with the following text:

"General Error.
See your printer documentation for information about cleaning the error"

and the ink/paper button has its red light on.

even though there's paper and ink.

What should I do?

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

Of course ;)

The problem is solved, I tinkered as best I could by reinstalling all the drivers manually, etc.

It's all good.
