Error 0x800700c1 for any installation

Hello,

Here is my problem, for several weeks now, I have not been able to install anything on my PC, each time the error 0x800700c1 appears.
Windows Update constantly fails for updates, no software installs, nothing works.
I contacted Microsoft support, and they tell me that it is due to corrupted .NET Frameworks, but I can't install the right programs
I don't know how to fix this!
Has anyone encountered this problem before??

PS: I have tested many solutions found online without success, but I will consider all solutions, thanks!

Configuration: Windows Vista / Safari 534.30

Good evening
I don't know if I'm talking nonsense, but you need to go into the installed updates to see if there are any Frameworks left, then uninstall them and do an update again (maybe that's not it?)

reformulate here, you will have a better chance of getting responses

Thank you for your help, but the reset didn't work, unable to install the Windows Update agent. I reposted on the Windows forum!

Maybe also 1 virus...

Then close this discussion to avoid spreading efforts, but refer to it (link) in your new topic

A priori, it is not a virus; I did a full scan with Malwarebytes, and it found nothing!

means nothing; only a complete analysis by a security contributor can tell you that.

What is it??

If you don't find the solution on the Windows forum, you can ask on the virus/security forum if your machine might be infected; a security specialist contributor will assist you using specific tools.

Thank you very much, Vulcan. On the other hand, I am still in contact with a Microsoft support representative, and they have already sent me 2 procedures that haven't worked, but I'm not giving up!!
