Hello,

What should I do when it says ESC ... Pause Startup?

    Well, when I turn on the computer it says "Press the ESC key for Startup Menu " so I hit Escape and then it says "ESC ... Pause Startup. What should I do, my computer is stuck like this and I can't turn it on?

    Hello,

    I had the same problem as you (stuck at startup with the message "ESC ... Pause Startup" when I press escape).

    The issue comes from a hardware failure:

    - If your PC is under warranty, I advise you not to touch it anymore and to return it to the manufacturer.

    - Otherwise, you can start by removing the various components (hard drive, RAM, etc.) one by one and check each time if the problem is resolved (or not) by turning the PC back on. This technique will allow you to isolate the component that is preventing your computer from starting properly.

    (In my case, it was one of the RAM sticks that was no longer working.)
