Media Player Classic: clear playlist

Hello,

I am looking for a way in Media Player Classic to ensure that the files I have played before closing it do not remain in the playlist when I reopen MPC. Additionally, in the FILE menu, CLOSE is grayed out, so I cannot clear the playlist. I am not talking about recently opened files but specifically about those I have played in the playlist. What I want is for every time I open MPC, there are no files in the playlist.
