Alt+...=Omega ?

Bonjour, I am looking for the keyboard shortcut (alt+number) to make the Omega symbol (Ω)
I was told alt+937 but it gives me ®
and alt+8486 but it gives me &
or even alt+911 but it gives Å
If someone can help me it would be very kind :)

Go to Start, all programs, accessories, system tools, "Character Map", look for what you want.

Yeah, but here you need to copy and paste, and the shortcut it gives is U+2126, which doesn't work. I'm looking for the shortcut in alt+number, but thanks anyway for your response :)
