Hello,
After extensive research my problem remains unsolved. I bought Fable 3 and it is impossible to install it. When I insert the CD into the drive either the client fails to start and shows me different error codes, all related to Games for Windows Live, or the client starts but the installation is halted for the same reasons. Lately the client doesn’t start and I’m told there is a 32/64 bit compatibility issue.
I’m running Windows 7, I have performed all kinds of updates and I have attempted several times to reinstall Games for Windows Live manually, as well as Windows Live ID. I should note that I installed the game on another PC, which is unfortunately not powerful enough to run it properly. The problem therefore comes from my PC.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Thanks to you! I thought this topic was dead.
But good news, I found a solution to the problem (this one anyway), which probably came from my CD/DVD drive:
- I created an ISO of the game's CD on another PC, with PowerISO.
- Then copied/pasted onto the PC where I want to play.
- With Daemon Tools I launched the ISO and miracle! The game installed.
Hoping this might be useful to you as well.

Hi, I also have a problem with Fable 3, namely no game launch when I click the .exe.
In my opinion this must be a compatibility issue between 64-bit Windows and the game which runs in 32-bit :/.
I posted a topic about my problem, I’ll tell you if I get any responses that might interest you.

hello ^^ for the compatibility issue let the game install in the default directory, the "Program Files (x86)" is important sometimes for compatibility problems, it may look stupid but it works.
and especially run the game with the "F3Secu" not the Launcher nor the "Fable 3.exe"
if that doesn't work I have no other idea, it fixed my problem.
