if it concerns classes of a statistical series, therefore an interval, for example [4,10[, the center is the 'midpoint' of the interval, which here is 7 = (4+10)/2

regarding Excel
you need to put
- the lower bounds (here 4) in one column (A for example)
- the upper bounds (here 10) in the next column (B)
assuming
- that you have these values starting from row 2
- that the centers are in column C
in C2 you put
=(A2+B2)/2
and drag it down for the rest of the column

In statistics, wouldn't that be what we call the median by any chance?

PS I have never heard of class center in statistics; it might be good to elaborate a bit.
