Hello,
last night I went to the ovistore with my phone and I wanted to download a free app.
But I'm hesitant to download because a year ago I had an Android phone and when I downloaded free apps all my credit disappeared!
How is that possible? Should I download it again without fear on my Nokia N97? I need an answer.
Thank you

Re...
There are 2 possibilities: you can download directly with your N97, or with a PC.
With a PC... the only way I know is to use Firefox with the "default user agent" extension
which, once installed and configured, will allow you to download apps for the N97 to your PC
and from there, transfer those apps using the cable, OR via Bluetooth too!
So... if you have Bluetooth on your PC... no problem!
The goal? It's to save the downloaded app(s) on your PC,
so you can reinstall them if needed... after formatting the mobile, for example.
Default user agent: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/
Cheers

Hello
mobile plan: unlimited internet? Otherwise, data transfer (from the app)
could cost you... one way or another...
OviStore: you can go there without worry; if it's written free... it will definitely be free.
ps: if you wish... leave me a message with an email where I can send you
2 or 3 interesting links for the n97.

yes, I have unlimited internet.
What I didn't have back then with the Samsung Android...
The app was free, I would download about 5, I had just acquired my credit and I already only had 3 € left!
- Thank you, but if it's applications to download from the computer and then put on the Nokia, I can't, I don't have a cable... -
Okay, thanks, I'll still download an app from the Ovi Store and I'll try via Bluetooth tomorrow night.
Thanks to you.
