Hello,
After recovering a lost file after formatting, I can't execute it anymore. It gives me the message "Incorrect folder version." What should I do?

Hello,
often the recovery of files is not perfect, and there is missing data in the recovered file.
I think that's your problem. So, we can no longer open the file because it is corrupted (there is missing data inside).
If it were a text file, you could still try to open it with Notepad to recover the text that was inside. -
It's really a big hassle for me... It's an accounting file that contains the accounting of a company over three years. Is there a utility to repair Sage accounting files? (Line 100 V13)???????

So it's the .mae file that's the problem?
(Because, apparently, it's this file that contains the backup) -
This is an accounting file that I created; it is indeed with the .mae extension.

OK,
I checked this page (https://zoom.us/?utm_source=zoom.fr and it is possible that the problem comes from a version difference in the software (the software that made the backup is different from the software trying to read the backup).
Otherwise, on this page, they also mention opening your file with a hexadecimal editor (for example: Notepad++) and modifying invalid addresses with valid addresses (be careful! technical maneuver)
Good luck -
