Printing with empty cartridge Lexmark

Question

Hello,

I want to print with an empty color cartridge using the Lexmark C543 printer...
I tried what is advised in various forums, which is to put a cover (tape or cardboard) to "fool" the printer into thinking the cartridge is full, but it doesn't work...
Could you tell me exactly where I need to place a cover on the Lexmark cartridges?

I didn't specify, but my black cartridge is new; it's the magenta that's empty, and I find it even more frustrating since I never print in color!

Alright ;)  Well, you just need to put tape on the opening system of the cartridge  (it's not easy)  -- The pen is mightier than the sword  ;) sky the life

unfortunately, it is clearly impossible with Lexmark cartridges! pathetic!

It's really treating people like fools. My black cartridge is full but I need color to print in black... except for the test page.
