Hello,

Is it possible that it's a rogue tonight?
I’ll transfer the message to the virus/security forum.

See you later

Under Mozilla Firefox, go to "Tools / Add-ons / Uninstall Babylon toolbar."

I managed to remove Babylon Toolbar with ADWCleaner.

Just before using it, uninstall Babylon Toolbar from your PC, under Win7 64 bits, Start Menu » Control Panel » Programs and Features.

Then clean your PC with Ccleaner, fix the errors at least 2 times in the Registry options of Ccleaner.

Then download ADWCleaner http://general-changelog-team.fr/fr/downloads/viewdownload/20-outils-de-xplode/2-adwcleaner

You may have to run it more than once, but it will clean you from that damn toolbar for good, whether it's with Chrome or Firefox.

There you go, I hope I've helped many! See you later, friends.

THE SOLUTION TO UNINSTALL BABYLON TOOLBAR ON MOZILLA:
Yes, and like a big boy by myself I found it (after struggling with it of course..)
Well,
1) you open Mozilla
2) you go to Tools
3) you open Add-ons
4) you go to extensions
5) you delete Babylon (that big piece of crap)
6) you feel happy
7) you help your fellow man by posting on the forums that you searched through to find the solution that not many people found, except for.. "control panel.. etc etc.. where there's nothing"
8) you restart Mozilla
9) you get your browser back
10) you swear that it won't happen to you again
11) and then you end up getting another toolbar one day...
12) and you start over, not forgetting to help your fellow man.
13) damn.. you see that the solution has already been found in the previous message...
14) it's okay, you're still happy!!!!

Hello! I have successfully uninstalled Babylon search bar from programs and features, but it still shows up in my scan with Spybot, and it tells me that I don't have the rights...

What should I do?

Thanks!

P.S. I have Windows 7

I have the same problem: babylon.toolbar and SweetIm appear on Spybot while they are officially uninstalled.

Hello everyone, if you couldn't uninstall this program it's because it says you are not an administrator? If that's the case, look for the program Spybot S&D, then right-click and select "Run as administrator." After that, all you have to do is search again and delete the toolbar. Good luck!

You can disable it in the management of add-ons.

Here’s what I did and it worked well

First

To uninstall a program, you must first close it.
By default, the program is configured to run in the background. If it is running in the background, the program's icon appears in the system tray, near the system clock.
Right-click on the icon and select “Exit or Disable…”. Then follow these steps:

1.) Go to: Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs (in Windows Vista or Windows 7, “Programs and Features”)

2.) Scroll through the list and select the Babylon product to uninstall.

3.) Click once on this entry, then on the “Remove” or “Uninstall” button. Once you have confirmed the operation, an uninstallation wizard opens and allows you to remove the program from your computer.

I did that and it's still on my computer, no way to get rid of it.

Hello,
that’s what I did, but it’s still there. I even tried with Revo Uninstaller, but nothing works. I managed to remove the toolbar by going to Tools, Add-ons, and deleting Babylon. It worked, I no longer have the toolbar, but the small search bar next to the address bar is still there.

Maybe you haven't opened the menu bar; to open it, you need to right-click, then click on the menu bar, and then you should normally see file, edit... etc.... and tools.

Hey, so here it is, to disable Babylon, just from the homepage which is supposed to be normal internet, here’s what I did with Google Chrome;
So first, click as if you wanted to go on the internet.
Then, click on the settings of the Google homepage. (With Chrome, it’s at the top right next to the URL bar.)
Once on settings, with Chrome click on "homepage; open this page:" and there you enter the following URL: https://www.google.fr/ and normally after you just have to exit and it will save automatically. So normally, no more ugly and annoying Babylon homepage! :)
Then, to disable it as much as possible, click on "start = computer = uninstall or modify a program = search = Babylon = uninstall and that’s it! I hope I helped you! :) Kisses.

I actually have a trick for you: just reinitialize, and all the issues will disappear (at least it worked for me). So here’s what you do: START/firefox.exe -safe-mode (type that in the search box), then something will come up and you check the boxes, like if you want to delete all bookmarks (of course, you need to close Mozilla for it to work).

In fact, it's for Babylon search.
