Activation carte WIFI sur Ubuntu

Bonjour,

J'ai installé Ubuntu 10.10 sur mon DELL VOSTRO 1710.

J'ai un problème pour activer ma carte wifi, quand je tape la commande :
ifconfig wlan0 up

Il me répond :
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

Pourtant ma carte est bien détectée, quand je fais un iwconfig :
wlan0 IEEE 802.11bg ESSID:off/any
Mode:Managed Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power=0 dBm
Retry long limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Encryption key:off
Power Management:off

De plus sur l'icône du Wifi, il est marqué qu'il manque un micrologiciel, mais je ne sais pas lequel ?

Pourtant il y a deux ans lorsque j'avais installé Ubuntu sur le même ordinateur, ma carte Wifi avait été détecté correctement.
