Help! How to fix a broken CD!

Hello,
I have a huge problem. Is it possible to repair a broken CD? It's not scratched but really cracked. It's cracked in the center and continues for at least 3 cm. I'm sorry but I don't know how to explain it :( It's really important because it's a CD for The Sims 1 and it's the compilation CD (all 7 games on one disc). So in my opinion, it's rare since you can't find it in stores anymore because it was released in 2005. But I really want to play it >_<. Plus, I wanted to buy it again but I'm not allowed to shop online -_- and there are no more in stores! (If you know any stores that have it, please let me know! But stores in Canada like "Futureshop" please!) I’ve already searched everywhere for tips like using toothpaste but it doesn't work -_- Is there a miracle way to fix this? =3

Absolutely serious, a scratch can sometimes be recoverable thanks to special polishers, but not a break. A CD or DVD is a layered disc in which a multitude of "holes" are engraved with a laser, either on or off (On or Off). It is therefore binary. The player reads, also using a laser, this series of "holes."
This engraving has a certain depth on the order of "microns"; when a scratch damages the surface of the media, reading cannot occur because the light is diffracted by the scratch.
If it is reasonable, polishing can make the surface "readable." If it is too deep, we reach the engraving itself, and then it is ruined.
