Hello,
I received an order for the installation and configuration of a telephone system, and my partner, who is trained in this field, has left me.
I really don't know what to do; I've been searching the Internet for 3 days without finding a satisfactory answer.

The products I was ordered are:

Panasonic standard 8/24 (I don't know what 8/24 means. I think it supports 24 lines, but what about the 8?)

operator sets
specific sets
14 pair junction block (.........................)
distributor (.......................)
12V battery (I don't see what equipment this is for)

Thank you in advance to those who respond

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.13

8/24 MEANS 8 EXTERNAL LINES AND 24 INTERNAL LINES. THE OPERATOR'S STATION IS A SPECIFIC STATION USED BY THE OPERATOR FOR CALL TRANSFER. THE SPECIFIC STATION HAS MORE FUNCTIONS THAN A SIMPLE STATION (programmable buttons, display, speaker); it is more expensive and is intended for managers. A 14-pair patch panel is used to connect a 14-pair cable. A distributor acts as one or more patch panels and serves as a link between the PBX and the wired network. The backup battery is used to power the PBX when there is no mains supply.
