Bouygues Telecom Scam

Hello,

I will present the circumstances of this action; I have been with Bouygues Telecom for 6-7 years. Two years ago, I broke my phone, and at the same time, I wanted a plan with unlimited SMS 24/7, so I went to the Bouygues Telecom store in Montélimar to choose a phone and a plan that suited me. I chose the phone, and the seller advised me to take the Neo 2 plan at 36 euros per month (which had just come out). To enjoy the offers of the plan, I would pay for the phone over two months (it's quite a complex maneuver, but the seller convinced me). Then I was to send a letter to switch to the blocked plan with unlimited SMS at 19 euros per month that I had chosen. I did what he told me, except that the letter was rejected. I called Bouygues, and they told me that we could only increase the prices of the plans, and that the seller had no right to do that...
But that's not the worst. Last month, I paid 80 euros in extra charges... without understanding why. It turns out that the 36 euros per month Neo plan no longer has unlimited SMS............... They don't even warn you, and the plan changes at their whim!!!

I'm wondering what I could do. Of course, I could file a complaint, but all I want is to have an affordable plan with unlimited SMS... Are there ways to cancel a contract without paying?

Sorry for replying so late. I was also scammed by Bouygues Telecom. You have a solution available, which I opted for, that is, I canceled my contract. Indeed, according to the Chatel law, after the first 12 months, one can terminate their contract by reimbursing 20% of what remains to be paid until the end of the contract. I therefore paid a quarter of what I would have paid over 10 months, with my subscription stopping at that point. I then ported my number to SFR, meaning a new plan, new phone but the same number. Given that my cancellation fees (25% of what I was going to pay over 10 months) amounted to 70 euros, and SFR covers these fees if they are below 100 euros, SFR covered these 70 euros, and I benefited from the welcome offer, which means that for 2 months, SFR is giving me the plan for free! There you go.
