    Normalement root lance mysqld_safe qui lance mysqld avec le profil mysql.

    root       /bin/sh /usr/bin/mysqld_safe
    mysql       \_ /usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --pid-file=/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.pid --socket=/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock --port=3306
    root        \_ logger -t mysqld -p daemon.error

    Je ne sais pas si ça va t'aider mais voici le script /etc/init.d/mysql utilisé par Debian pour lancer le serveur mysql :

    #!/bin/bash
    #
