facebook: reset attempts Solved

Question

Hello, After some issues and several attempts to recover/create the password, I am now stuck with the following message:  "Your password cannot be reset. You have reached the maximum number of password reset attempts. If you continue to have difficulty accessing your account, please contact us for assistance."  Is this temporary? Is my account blocked? What steps should I take? Thank you for your attention to my message.    Configuration: Windows XP / Safari 534.10

Hello, You need to submit a form to request a new password (which will be temporary). Go to: Help/User Guide/Username and Password/Bugs and Known Issues/Password-related Issues/The error I encountered is not on the list/To report a new bug related to access difficulties to your existing account, click "HERE": then fill out the form explaining the issue. Another option to submit the form: Help/User Guide/Username and Password/I need to reset my password every time I log in/If the problem persists after you have tried all the above procedures, click "HERE". In my case, they sent me an email with a new password 3 days later (I submitted both forms).

Good evening, I followed your advice Guillaume, I arrive at the right place but when I click on the link "report any bugs here", it redirects me to the login page telling me "to access this page you need to log in". However, my problem is that I cannot log in and that I have the message stating that I have reached the number of password resets. It's a vicious cycle!!  Can anyone help me??

Hello,  Yesterday my friends had the bright idea to take control of my Facebook account by using a method I can't explain. In a few words, they managed to reset my password without me being logged in. When I realized what they did, I tried to change my password. On their side, seeing that they were blocked, they attempted the method again. The result is that the password reset limit has been reached. I don't know how to access my account (partly to delete the posts they made) and change my settings. To report that my account has been "hacked," I need to log in with a password I don't have, so I can't send any forms. I really don't know how to proceed. Ideas are, therefore, welcome. Thank you.

Good evening, I'm experiencing the same kind of problem since last night. My MSN and Facebook accounts have been hacked!!! They have completely changed the email address I used to log into my Facebook account and have modified the secret question. I filled out the help questionnaire and so far nothing... still no response.
