Hello,

I started working on a database in Access, but the person it is intended for only has OpenOffice.
I tried to open the database with Open Office Base (version 2.0.1), but only the tables are transferred. I lose the forms, queries, and macros.
Has anyone ever done a manipulation like this?
Is there a way for me to recover a bit more than just the tables?

Thank you in advance.

On the OpenOffice site, there is, in the documentation section, a "how-to" section where you can find a migration manual from an Access database:

Hello,

Thank you for all this information. As a beginner on OpenOffice, I hadn't seen this part of the site yet.

See you soon

Hello,

I see from the previous messages that you found a way to do it. I have the same problem as you, but I feel like the documentation only concerns Open on Linux, whereas I'm looking to transfer a database under Open on Windows. The documentation is a bit complicated to understand. Could you please provide me with a simpler procedure to follow?

Thank you very much.

Hello,

There are FAQs about OpenOffice => forum

As for Access under OpenOffice, a "driver" for Access is needed => ODBC.
