Batigest evolution - import quantitative excel

Hello,

I want to integrate the quantities from the quotes provided in the contracting documents, taking into account the sections, subsections, subtotals, etc. I can successfully import an Excel file, but it only imports text. I believe this is related to the import settings or the formatting of the quantities provided. Can you help me?

Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello Pascal
In the import of the text file, you need to check in the settings button that the delimiter is set to tab and specify from which line it starts.
Then by clicking Next: batigest indicates all the columns it finds in the excel file: make sure to note them down.
Next, you need to assign the column numbers to the fields to be retrieved in batigest (e.g., designation and quantity).
Check and proceed with the import.
In batigest, it is quite quick to assign the ranges using shortcuts for main ranges (ctrl+1), sub-ranges (ctrl+2), and subtotals (ctrl+s).

I remain at your disposal.

Hello Pascal,

Batigest Evolution indeed allows you to import Excel files into the document body.

However, it is currently not possible to import the formatting of your quote.

You will need to manually format your document (recreate your sections and subsections).

I remain at your disposal for further information.

Hello,
To import Excel files more efficiently into Batigest, I can recommend the Link2xls solution from CBA.

You will be able to import batches, variants, unreferenced works, etc. You can find more information by following this link: http://www.cba.be/catalogue/solutions-complementaires-3/links2xls-20.html

I am available for any further information.

Hello,

Here is some additional information regarding your request.

Link2xls is an application that allows the import of Excel quotes into Batigest.

Link2xls is the ideal complement to Batigest for users who regularly receive submissions in Excel format.

This software indeed enables the automatic generation of a Batigest quote from an Excel file that simply needs to be configured.

The client can be selected from the Batigest database, and the quote is created entirely automatically.

All important information from the submission is automatically retrieved and processed (Quantity, item type, variants, numbering, market type, comments...).

You can also import the lines from the file as non-referenced works. You only need to insert your own articles or works for the price to be calculated automatically.
