How to use a 110v device on 220v?

Hello, I don't know which section to put my question in, but since it's about a projector, I put it in photos.
I bought an old projector from the 1930s for my collection, but I would like to use it since I have 35mm films. However, the device is powered at 110 volts; how can I use it on 220? I saw reversible transformers (but they are very large); is that what I need? Do you know a website where I could buy one that is suitable, not too big and not too expensive? Thank you for your response.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.13

Good evening,

the simplest thing would be to use this kind of transformer or autotransformer. The first requires the use of a US/Europe adapter. The second is a bit more tricky (and can be dangerous) to use, but it is adjustable from 0 to 250V.

edit:

before investing in a transformer, try to see if it's still possible to find replacement bulbs. It would be a shame to buy a transformer only to realize afterward that the bulb is burnt out, or that it breaks after three uses...
