Good evening,

the simplest thing would be to use this kind of transformer or autotransformer. The first requires the use of a US/Europe adapter. The second is a bit more tricky (and can be dangerous) to use, but it is adjustable from 0 to 250V.

edit:

before investing in a transformer, try to see if it's still possible to find replacement bulbs. It would be a shame to buy a transformer only to realize afterward that the bulb is burnt out, or that it breaks after three uses...

Hello,
what a lot of chatter, for a simple transformer!!
It should be noted that in France, 110 volts was still very common in the 1960s and 1970s..
So many devices sold before this date were either 110 volts or 110/220, which caused a lot of damage :-))
So back to the subject, a simple 220 / 100 volts transformer and it's all done

Hello,

There are transformers to convert 110 volts to 220 volts and vice versa.

You might want to check if this could work with your device.

However, be very careful and do your research as I am not an expert in electricity but I simply travel regularly to Australia and New Zealand where an adapter is essential for my 220-volt devices.

to switch to 220 volts, you need to connect 2 bulbs together between the device and the power supply,
the same bulb that you have on the device, back then, you had to specify the voltage, if you choose 220 volts, they sell you 2 bulbs, it's up to you to find the 2nd one!!!!

Hi Braveheart,

It's very kind of you to take an interest in my question, but unfortunately, it doesn't solve my problem. I know that reversible transformers exist, but which one would be suitable for my projector? If anyone is knowledgeable about electricity, please help me.

I would like to post a photo of the device on the forum, but I don't know if that's possible. If by any chance someone has the same projector, maybe they could give me better information. It's made of black bakelite, it's a "SUPER BABYSTAT," I believe it was made by PATHE.

You should provide the power of your projector lamp.
It is usually 150 or 250 W (Watts).
