sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install aptitude
sudo aptitude safe-upgrade
sudo aptitude install moonlight

... et reporte moi le résultat de la dernière commande.

Peux-tu me donner le résultat de :

cat /etc/lsb-release
apt-cache search moonlight

La première commande me permettra de voir quelle version d'ubuntu tu utilises et la seconde le nom exact du paquet.

En fait j'ai l'impression que sous ubuntu le paquet s'appelle moonlight-plugin-mozilla :
http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/silverlight

Donc la commande serait :

sudo aptitude install moonlight-plugin-mozilla 

On relance firefox et ça devrait rouler.

Ce n'est pas un sacrilège mais je me pose la question de savoir si ce ne serai pas mieux d'installer IE7, sous wine. D'autant plus que j'aurais peut-être besoin de ses moteur pour faire fonctionner un logiciel tres important.

Silverlight a été installé par erreur et lorsque je veux voire une vidéo , ça fini par :

Si tu installes le paquet apparemment ça installe la version 1 de moonlight. Concrètement j'ai fait ceci :

aptitude install moonlight-plugin-mozilla  
cd ~/.mozilla/plugins  
ln -s /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libmoonloader.so  
ln -s /usr/lib/moon/plugin/libmoonplugin-ff3bridge.so  

Manque de pot sur le site de pluzz.fr ça me dit installé : 1 requis : 3 (j'imagine que ce sont les versions de moonlight).

Bref je clique sur installer le paquet manquant et je me retrouve ici :

... qui à son tour m'envoie ici :

J'installe le truc, je retourne sur pluzz.fr mais on me dit cette fois installé : 2 requis : 3. Je retourne sur le site de moonlight et m'aperçois en prenant le temps de lire :

Et là... ça ne marche toujours pas. Aaaaah que j'aime ces technologies en boîte. C'est vrai 99% des machines savent lire du flash (techno qui ne vaut pas grand chose non plus) mais au moins qui a le mérite de marcher.

C'est dommage quand on y pense. On pourrait peut être utiliser de vraies technologies bien normalisées comme SVG (supporté dans konqueror opera et firefox mais quid de IE ?) ou HTML5, mais non...

Comme d'habitude M$ propose ses trucs dans son coin et fait son autiste... Mais bon comme CCM recommande IE, c'est que c'est sûrement un bon navigateur !

Bon je ne vois qu'une solution : installer un navigateur windows (par exemple firefox) avec wine puis installer dans ce navigateur le plugin windows. Ou alors carrément passer par une machine virtuelle (par exemple virtualbox).

mamiemando, BRAVO tu as réussi à trouver les bons mots pour expliquer le problème qui m'arrive. Chapeau :-)

99% des machines savent lire du flash.

Parfaitement, mais pourquoi faire simple lorsqu'on peut faire compliquer... :(

J'avais choisi wine pour faire tourner les programmes Windows car je n'ai pas beaucoup de mémoire seulement 1 Go. J'imagine que pour la virtualisation surtout de certains gros programmes, il leur faut beaucoup plus.

1) Bon l'idéal serait d'être parvenu à faire fonctionner moonlight mais visiblement ça semble compromis.

2) Tu peux toujours tenter le coup avec wine qui offrira (si ça marche de meilleures performances).

3) La virtualisation est un peu plus coûteuse en ressources mais forcément tant que ça (et tu peux brider la RAM allouée à la machine virtuelle). Les applications qui tournent dans le système invité sont moyennement performantes (typiquement jouer dans une VM est une mauvaise idée). Mais là je pense que ça pourrait aller. Un tutoriel d'exemple (ici on virtualise une debian mais le principe reste le même) :

De toute façon, l'erreur c'était d'utiliser silverlight. Quand je pense que certains formats comme le SVG (qui sont ouverts et bien fait) ont eu du mal à prendre parce qu'un navigateur en bois (IE pour ne pas le citer) ne le supportait qu'au travers d'un plugin que personne ne voulait installer et que LÀ on se fait suer à faire marcher un sombre truc microsoftien, c'est vraiment à se taper la tête contre les murs.

En tout cas bonne chance pour la suite et bonnes fêtes
