Good evening,

I would like to know what you think about the Buffy/Angel series. Personally, I love them. I think they really managed to evolve their characters and their stories (unlike others...). I'm just sad that they are over, but I console myself by saying that there are still 7 seasons of Buffy (144 episodes!) and 5 seasons of Angel (110 episodes), which makes a total of 254 episodes!! I hope that one day there will be a sequel or a spin-off of these series (especially for Angel, considering how it ends).

So, I am waiting for your opinions...

the series buffy has not aged well, unlike angel which is really a level above, especially in terms of humor!

What I would like to know is if there will be an episode that connects the two series.
Or does the episode start at the last episode of the series Angel? Then I agree with Dédé 86.

    144 + 110 = not just that to do

Yes, yes, in the meantime, still no one to talk about Buffy and Angel.

    Sniff...

    Happy New Year to all!

Here's a little message about Buffy for Dédé...

Personally, I haven't watched Angel, but I really liked Buffy.
I remember the pizza-Buffy-report nights spent at my engineering school's residence.
At first, I wasn't really interested, but I ended up watching the show out of necessity (everyone was watching Buffy), and I had a great time. It didn't take itself too seriously; some characters like Spike or Anya were fantastic.
At the same time, it was about time it ended because in the later seasons, it took itself too seriously and became tedious.

So that's my take on Buffy.
(By the way, I wouldn't mind re-watching the early seasons (M6, make an effort!!! Re-run the beginning of Buffy and Highlander while you're at it)

    Gallou.

It's true that the last 2 seasons were darker (especially season 6), but overall I still think the series is very good. Joss Whedon, the creator of the series, has given the green light for the creation of a TV movie about Spike! That's pretty good news and it proves that the Buffyverse is not dead!

Personally, I prefer Buffy because it’s more engaging and it has been around for a longer time, even though I also like the series Angel.

Hello, I'm a fan of Buffy but also of Angel for not long. They are really two excellent series, but unfortunately, they are too underestimated. First of all, because of the title "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," it does sound kitsch, but also due to the excessive media coverage the series had while it was still airing on TV. Regarding BTVS, my favorite seasons are 5 and 6, two exceptional seasons! They are very dark in a just and touching way. Season 7 disappointed me; it wasn't crazy enough, too "heroic" for my taste. The first season is the weakest; it's normal since it only has 12 episodes and the budget was small, so the special effects were not great. I have a fondness for seasons 2 and 3, which are lighter than the latter but still address many important subjects (solitude, the dark side of people, rejection, difference...). Season 4 is the transition season; unlike many fans, I liked it (funny and important for all the characters). As for Angel, I'm halfway through season 3 and so far I love it too, although I prefer Buffy. Season 3 is clearly better than seasons 2 and 1; the storyline involving the baby, Darla, and Holtz is thrilling. Then for me comes season 2, which has very good episodes (Darla, Reunion, Friend or Foe, and the last three in Pylea!). Finally, the first season, which is less good but still very interesting (Five by Five, the manuscript, eternal youth...). There you go, I'm looking forward to finishing season 3 and seeing seasons 4 and 5, which promise to be even better!

Oh, I'm also in the middle of season 3 of Angel, where he has his son Connor! "Angel" is really an amazing series and let's face it, it's definitely better than "Buffy" when it comes to special effects, stunts, sets, and image quality. It's a show that has been given a lot more attention and has more resources, so inevitably the outdoor shoots are more frequent. That said, I'm addicted to Buffy and her crew, and I'm owning it! Plus, it's true that seasons 4 and 5 of Angel look amazing; I'm so eager to see how it ends, so there's no way I'm finding out what happens next before the time, I want to keep the suspense^^
After watching these 2 series, I definitely plan to rewatch them, but this time in the original version with subtitles (yes, I'm motivated^^)

I am a fan of both series and currently I am looking to download Angel, but the best character from both series remains Spike.

Okay, I have to admit I'm a fan of TV series. I have a nice complete DVD collection including Buffy, Ally McBeal, Sex and the City, Footballers' Wives, Charmed, Queer as Folk, Lost, Six Feet Under, Roswell, and I'm starting Angel.
My point of view on the series is that the first five seasons were made to please the American post-teen audience, but then the series kind of went off the rails. The lesbian angle, was it really necessary or was it just for ratings and to generate more buzz about the show? Because during its airing, the series almost got banned for moral reasons, not to mention the rather crude language and the sexually charged scenes between the characters Buffy-Spike and Alex-Anya.
I think the creators wanted to evolve the characters, but they sometimes went a bit too fast.
It doesn’t bother me, but sometimes going too far can end up tiring the viewer.

Buffy and Angel are a future classic for me... in season 2 with David Boreanaz (Angel), the storylines are powerful and well-crafted.
I am a fan of Buffy and Angel. I will never get tired of listening to them... by the way, they have reached season 9 of Buffy.

Salut à tous, dites-moi, je trouve la série Angel et Buffy très intéressante parmi toutes les séries cultes que j'ai déjà vues. Pourquoi ne penses-tu pas que c'est à ton goût ?

I love this series! (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) And I know that next year, there will be a new TV series called Ripper, which will be based on the character of Rupert Giles (Buffy's Watcher) who is retiring in England but still has to fight against the forces of evil... And it takes place after season 5 of Angel, I believe!

Personally, I really love all the seasons and I've seen Buffy at least 40 times and a little less Angel because my seasons are new. I would like a continuation with even more monsters and everything.

And if the sequel with Gilles exists, I would be overjoyed, it’s been too long since we last saw it, right???

Normally, the Ripper series should be released around 2008.
I am a fan of the Buffy and Angel series, and even aside from the actors Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz, who are just perfect for these roles, these two series are beautifully made with an interesting evolution of the characters over the seasons.
I'm especially thinking of the Angel series, which delves even deeper into the profile and life of the characters.
    It's simply brilliant.

Yes, I think so. My non, Buffy is not dead, and then they made a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode again, Jean has heard about it. So I hope it's true.

I would like to know where I can download the series Angel?
And is the series Angel a sequel to Buffy? Thank you for responding.
I have only seen the series Buffy, but it's really great. My favorite character is Spike; he is both
funny and when he dies, it's moving.
I don't like Buffy when she told Spike that she loves him just to please him...
    Who is your favorite character???

Buffy doesn't tell Spike that she loves him to please him, you idiots. I've watched Buffy plenty of times, maybe more than you, and you can feel that she loves him, it's just that before she didn't want to admit it.

Hello, I'm desperately looking for the seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, but I can't seem to find them. The only place is Megavideo, but it stops after 72 minutes, which is really frustrating. If someone could help me, that would be nice.
