Hello, I sent my HP computer for repair at Boulanger after a formatting with F11 that crashed my computer and it wouldn't restart. I need to go buy a master CD on the HP website. I have to provide my "P/N" in order to purchase the CD. I only have the receipt for my computer and I don't know what the P/N is. Could someone please enlighten me?

P/N this must be for "Part Number"... or serial number... surely a number to identify the exact model in a series

But normally when coming back from repair, you should have a new OS installed in the computer... if there was one before at the time of purchase.
