how to pin icons on my desktop Solved

Hello,
I would like to know how to keep the icons where I place them on my desktop.
I right-clicked, then selected "Arrange Icons By," and I only checked the options "Align to Grid" and "Show Desktop Icons."
But despite this, each time I restart, the icons realign from top to bottom on the left side of the screen.

There are several solutions:

1) The simplest: refresh the desktop

* Arrange the icons on the desktop as desired
* Right-click on the desktop and select "Refresh"
* That's it. At the next startup, the icons will always be in the same place.

2) The classiest: Layout
This utility adds a command to the desktop context menu that saves the current icon position, and another that restores the saved position (check the application conditions nevertheless).
