Autocad: scale tool in one direction only

Hello,
After creating a building facade in Autocad 2008, I noticed that the width was correct (dimension X) but the height (Y) is too short!!
So I put my facade into a block and tried to use the scale tool, but the width increased as well...
I would like my transformation to only apply to the Y axis, how can I do that?
