What does 8 GB mean?

Hello,
I would like to know what 8 GB means. My internet contract states 8 GB from 8 AM to 11 PM and unlimited from 11 PM to 8 AM. What does 8 GB correspond to? Can I download during the day? If so, for how long? Thank you to those who can provide me with an answer.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 534.3

8GB corresponds to the volume of data that can be exchanged. Knowing that a web page is minuscule compared to this volume. It has nothing to do with duration.

But such a contract seems twisted to me. What is it about?

    Hi,

make sure that the quota is not monthly, 8 gigabytes can go relatively quickly if you're on YouTube or other multimedia sites.

Don't forget to report that your issue is resolved.

It must be a monthly contract ;)

    Mine on satellite is 4GB.

8GB is to be spread over the month, so no (or very little) streaming/downloading before 11 PM.

8GB is 8 gigabytes; you shouldn't exceed that, otherwise I believe it's paid.
