Hello
I am looking for a precise answer (it's for a training) to a simple question
Is rebooting restarting using the reset button or restarting through the start menu or elsewhere?
And what is the difference between a reboot and a regular shutdown and startup?
Thank you all

Rebooting is probably not French, but it's computer jargon; it's to restart but not using the reset button...
Only Windows requires you to "reboot," for example, Linux never does

Are you sure? I thought that meant to reboot without forcing the BIOS to check everything!
