Hello,
I got banned from the new version of Chatroulette. An image capture and my IP address are documented. Do you know how long it will last and if it's possible to remove that image capture? I don't care about going back to the Chatroulette site, but it could be seen that I'm banned if someone uses my computer and that's what worries me. Is it possible to change your IP address and how to do it on a Mac?
Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 533.18.5

Simply turn off your modem for 2 minutes and then turn it back on. You will have a different IP address.
If that doesn't work: choose a VPN. -
Hi, it looks like all the banned ones gather here ;)
For me, it's dead, I'm on a static IP...
But well, I just saw an ad for a chat reserved for banned users of Chatroulette lol :D -
Unplug your router and plug it back in, or run CCleaner.

I was banned last night too! Fortunately, no picture! But it still annoys me, I find it funny! So if someone knows how long I'll be banned for, and if I can go back!

Probably because the CCM community finds questions about being banned from Chatroulette really funny :D
It’s still funny: not a single banned person did anything wrong. And when you go on Chatroulette, you still notice that in 95% of cases, you come across webcams featuring people in their underwear or exposed breasts.
So, either we have a major statistical exception here, or ... -
Normally, those who show their d*** don’t get banned, because it’s thanks to them that Chatroulette works (at least 60% of people are perverts, and there are always some, so if they were banned every time, there would be no one left). Most of the people who get banned are for insults or gory pictures (like me who accidentally posted pictures of corpses).

no, we don't redirect you to the page where it is located
to be honest, there is no justification for what you might have potentially done, and I find it quite unfortunate because we end up banned without knowing the real reason
I mostly think there are a lot of idiots who enjoy doing this just for fun -
A simple solution to change your IP address, it takes 5 minutes.... Create an account on (Peer2me) then download it, it gives you either a German IP address or a French IP address. To change your IP, just connect to Peer2me; if you end up with a German IP address, just disconnect and reconnect until you get a French address, there you go.. :P

The same thing... as long as it stays like this...
But yesterday and the day before, the photo didn't appear for a few hours either, before coming back... -

Ahahah no luck =P Well, I'm banned and there's a photo of me playing Xbox^^ They really have some issues, some people report anything... Pfff

just for your information, there are a whole bunch of questions and personal cases, that said there are no concrete answers
on the other hand, I myself have been banned from chatroulette for giving the finger to all the perverts showing their private parts, however it is me who has suffered from a screenshot taken by these brain-deprived individuals...
it's useless to unplug your modem and reset it just because the concerned IP is not that of your modem but your public IP!
in other words, if you want to solve this problem, you need to get a new internet line...
unless proxies can help us? I don’t know
as for the duration of my ban, I don't know if it is temporary or permanent
finally, the last solution... is to contact the webmaster of the site (the person responsible) explain your case and inform them of the abuse of these people and the mistake they made in blocking you, with a bit of luck we might get a positive response
best regards -
It seems to me that it's something else that can ban people. I don't know, but it happened to me twice to be banned for saying nonsense the first time and for talking for 5 minutes with a girl the second time. And each time I was banned (not for long) and the page said that I had made sexual remarks... for having said in English "it's not often that I see a girl instead of a d**k," so in my opinion, there must be a fake moderator behind this.

Solution ???
All you need to do is unplug your BOX, and while it's unplugged, run CCLEANER by selecting everything related to the internet!!!
It worked for me three times, but I still don't know why I'm getting banned each time.
Anyway, I hope this helps you.
P.S.: I have a SFR neuf box and I'm on Vista. -
I was banned (no photo, just a message and a redirect to a dating site for adults) for I have no idea what for, this kind of site is really starting to scare me! I hope we won't risk legal action for being banned because I absolutely did nothing wrong, I was just trying to meet people to share passions (photography, cinema, art, etc.) it really freaks me out. What do you think?
