Hello,

I am currently in a very delicate and sensitive situation and I am in real distress.

I went to the Bazoocam website (similar to Chatroulette) and I was recorded by a so-called woman who was doing a virtual show, and I literally fell into the trap.
This person recorded my video and has my email address as well as my Facebook contacts. I only have her email address.

I am terrified that this video will be revealed to the public.. I'm begging you, what can I do to prevent this vast joke from ending in a nightmare???

Hello hello. Above all, don’t worry at all. I’m a bit ashamed to say it, but the same thing happened to me a few years ago. Don’t panic, they will tell you that they will show the video to everyone, but they never do. It’s just blackmail. I got caught too. Personally, in my MSN and Facebook contacts, I only have trusted contacts who wouldn't care that I’m masturbating in front of the camera, and who often know about this type of scam. You don’t even respond, you delete the contact and report them to Microsoft via MSN. You report and delete all the emails they sent you and report them to Microsoft as well, and you change all the privacy settings of your Facebook account so they no longer have access to your contacts and personal info. You don’t even respond, you reply to the idiot with silence... Personally, I even took the liberty of sending them an insulting and warning email because I know myself, if they ever came here, which is unlikely due to borders and the cost of travel (Abidjan and Côte d'Ivoire)... I would slam them to the ground immediately. Take the opportunity to delete all your contacts who might judge you about this matter, and if there are people you care about, make up a story that someone hacked your Facebook and delete them, so you can add them back later, real friends won't judge you about this kind of thing. See how to block them through the data you have about them from my previous response (Simlight). I imagine here you have their MSN. Block them and report their account to Microsoft. If they send you emails, block and report them as well. The less you communicate with them, the less they will hope for money.
To find your profiles, they just had to type your email address into the search engines of Facebook and MSN.
For Facebook, tighten the privacy settings and ban anyone who is not trustworthy.

I have 1 theory and some solutions for you:

1: This person probably knows you since she has your Facebook contacts unless your profile is open to everyone. When I say open, I mean that people can see your friends list; this person has brainwashed you by mentioning, for example, "the name of someone you know," so she has confused you.

Solutions: You have her email address, so you can try to get back at her or threaten her by saying that you have filed a complaint against THE SITE (generally) and that they promised to trace your IP address and all that nonsense... But that won't be enough to convince this woman that you have filed a complaint... (you should also do "go to Microsoft," it might cost you some money). Or else, of course, you have her email address; you can take on another persona on MSN. Play a seduction game, etc... set up a meeting. You can also bring along a cop friend and provide documents showing that this person is threatening you with the video. I think this person will be a bit scared and will back off. (play with words)

Hi Thibault. I had the same problem as you. I sent the video link to one of my friends on Facebook. My friend then reported the video directly. I also checked it out because my friend gave me the link. Now, I have no more issues.

Hello, I also got caught in a trap by a Rosalie!
I talked to her on the Bazoocam site and then on MSN
we did a cam 2 cam and she recorded a video of me..
she sent me a link claiming she put the video on YouTube...
I really saw the video and I immediately reported it.
Should I do something about this?

If you reported the video, as far as I'm concerned, YouTube removed it in less than ten minutes.
As for your reputation, you have nothing to fear; what you did is human, if, I say if! it were to become known.
No matter what people say, I'm somewhat known in my area in the artistic field, and I don't care ^^.
It's also up to you to acknowledge that to err is human, and that neither you, nor I, and even less them, are perfect. It's even something to take lightly and with a sense of humor; I'm convinced of that.
