CATIA V5 grid problem

Hello,
I have a project in Catia that I started on another PC where the grid was not present.
However, when I resumed work on a recently installed version, the grid and snap-to-grid options are activated... I am on the dimensioning part: so on DRAWING, and by disabling it using the icons, nothing works; I am still constrained by this snapping to the grid points!

I know it can be removed, but I don’t know how...
Please, I need your help.

Configuration: Vista - Google Chrome - a good powerful PC

We are capable of the best as well as the worst, but it is in the worst that we remain the best...

    Hi,

Try this; and depending on the type of project = adapt the *link*:

Tools -> options -> Mechanical Design -> Sketcher -> Sketch tab -> Set the main space or the number of subdivisions...

... in addition to the 2 icons that look like a grid; which are used to disable the grid and the grid snapping.

    Is that good?

Hi, I'm bringing up this topic for those who will have the same problem because I found the solution for drafting

Go to -> Tools -> Options -> Infrastructure (left) -> Drafting -> in the grid line you set 0 for spacing and 1 for subdivision.

It works for me, there you go :)

    Hello
I’m afraid you won’t find many answers in this office forum, although I wish you would
. It’s a bit of a shame that CCM doesn’t offer a CDAO forum that could address your issue.
It’s indeed a fairly specific environment that not many CMM contributors work with. Good luck
    Best regards

    Hi hip,
I tried what you suggested but I can't find "Adjust the main space or the number of subdivisions"... here's what I have on my version of CATIA (v5r19) http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=263854aide_satia.jpg.
