Hello,
At startup of my parents' PC, there is a message that displays
"press F1 to continue, del to enter setup"
I tried to find solutions online and see answers to this same question, but I'm a bit lost in the end.
Right above, it says "system is running in fail-State. Please recheck - BIOS CMOS SETUP "
From what I have read, I would need to modify the BIOS configuration? And it might be a problem with the recognition of the floppy disk drive?
My question is therefore where should I really go? Do I need to disable something? How do I do it?
Thank you for your answers
I'm a beginner in computing... and since it's not my PC, I wouldn't want to mess things up....
<config>Windows XP

Hi, it's easy to solve
When starting up your PC, press Delete (Dell) to access the BIOS ... Click on Advanced BIOS Features === > then go to (Boot Up Floppy Seek), find it Enabled and set it to Disabled ... F10 to save the changes and restart your PC ;)
Good luck-

Thank you so much,
I followed your instructions and here is my screen appearing!
When I found myself in front of all those messages in English, I first looked for the translation... and I came across your very clear explanation.
I am a novice and at 77 years old, I was starting to panic!!!
Thanks again
