What is the DELETE key

Hello
I would like to know if the DELETE key
corresponds to the key for deleting a letter
or if it is the "Suppr" key on the keyboard
I would like to access my BIOS to know its version

    DELETE = Delete key.

    The character deletion key is called BACKSPACE.

      The "Del" key deletes from right to left, but where is the other one? "Del" is supposed to delete from left to right, right? Thank you!

      Okay, I found the answer on a Brazilian site!!!
      "Delete" from left to right on Mac keyboards is: fn + backspace

      It's been 6 months since I got a Mac and I've been asking myself the same question... Thanks CI and thanks Brazil!!! It's still mind-blowing that Mac doesn't have a dedicated DELETE key...
