Hello,
I bought a classic Wii controller and would like to know if it is possible to change the button configuration. To explain, for example in Mario Kart, the left and right movements are done using the Pad (the round controller), but I would like to use the directional pad (like on the DS). Is that possible?
Another question, there are two types of classic Wii controllers on the market, one white for 20 euros and one black for 25 euros. What is the difference between these two controllers?

For the first question,
No, you cannot play with the directional cross, but if you plug in a Nunchuk, you can steer with the directional stick.
For the second question,
No, there is no difference, except for the color, but since people prefer to take the classic black controller, it costs more.

So for your setup, there’s nothing on Mario Kart or just plug in a nunchuck, and for the controllers, there’s strictly no difference except for the color.
