Hello everyone

I asked myself the question: one video card has 128 bits and the other has 256 bits.
Does it make a difference and what are the characteristics of these bits? I am showing you 2 video cards to compare

#1 the 256 bits: https://www.materiel.net/

#2 the 128 bits: https://www.materiel.net/

I would like your opinion on the two in terms of power and what the 256 bits does better than the other video card?

Configuration: Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
DirectX 11.0
Power Supply Antec TP Quatro 1000Watts
Processor Type AMD Atlon 64 x2 6000+ 3007mhz each core with 6mb cache
Motherboard Asus M3A78-T
System Memory 4G DDR2 800Mhz Kingstone
Video Card ATI Radeon HD 3300 Graphics (700 MB)
Monitor good news I found the thief and recovered my 22" HD Asus VH222-H
Floppy Disk Drive 1.44 mm
Hard Drive Maxtor 7Y250P0 (250 Go, 7200 RPM, Ultra-ATA/133)
Optical Drive HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH22NP20
Keyboard Standard keyboard 101/102 keys or Microsoft Natural keyboard
Mouse PS/2 compatible mouse
Game Controllers PC Microsoft joystick driver

Hi,
first, a 256-bit graphics card compared to a 128-bit one allows for:
- better graphic representation (images, applications utilizing 3D)
- a relieving of the processor from calculations related to display (equivalent speed gain in data processing and program execution)
- a reduction in RAM consumption (additional RAM, smoothness regarding the execution of certain tasks)

In order for the performance gain to be truly felt, it is necessary to associate applications that allow to fully utilize the capabilities of the graphics card (DIRECTX which includes direct draw, direct 3D...) for example.

the 256, OF COURSE, and you can configure it with utilities available online
if you notice any representation defects, you shouldn't force yourself to use it overclocked (since it heats up faster when overclocked and therefore requires running it with a powerful fan, otherwise its lifespan will be even more reduced), reconfigure your card using these utilities
here is an example link https://www.generation-nt.com/telecharger-371-2-carte-graphique.html?lg=&l=0
NEVERTHELESS KEEP YOUR 128 CARD
