Simulate middle click with TouchPad

Hello,

I just formatted my PC and I've lost something very useful.
In Firefox, clicking on a link with the right button of my TouchPad simulated a middle-click, thus opening the link in a new tab.

I can't find these settings anymore.

Was it software that allowed me to do that?
Or a native modification?

HELP

I have the same problem 2 years later.

I can scroll, but I no longer have the double tap that functioned as the equivalent of the mouse wheel click on my eeepc!
