Solved

Hello,

I am going to take a flight and I will only have carry-on luggage. I would like to transport alcohol and I would like to know if this is allowed and if they can see it at the X-ray.

Hoping to get answers quickly, thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 7.0

It is certain that you cannot bring your alcohol in your carry-on luggage.
There is a specific list of prohibited items and products in cabin baggage, which includes liquids (in any case in a container larger than 100 mL), sharp objects, knives, or even ammunition.

Here is a complete list that presents the restrictions and prohibited items on airplanes https://www.ma-valise-voyage.fr/les-produits-et-objets-interdits-dans-votre-valise-cabine/

Please also note that there are prohibitions on luggage that travels in the aircraft's holds... Many products are prohibited and will be confiscated if the airport baggage services detect them in your luggage!

Yeah, well I'm giving up on alcohol... And by the way, are we allowed to have a jar of Nutella in our hand luggage?!

yes if your container is less than 100ml
you can take whatever you want

fragrance, liquid, gel, cheese, shaving foam

as long as it is less than 100ml
and fits in a resealable bag

Hello,

It is totally forbidden.

No liquids on an airplane.

not allowed

you are allowed in the cabin
liquid products, cream, paste of less than 100ml

packed in a bag of 20cm x 20cm
sealed type freezer bag

I was a security agent for 5 years at Roissy CDG

Weird, isn't it !!

I took a flight less than a month ago from Nice via a city
in France and they took away a bottle of water less than 25 cl,
moreover half full, that was in my bag !!

yes oolinaoo

25cl = 250 ml
maximum 100ml

And if I put it in a plastic bottle, will they check?!

it's the container they're taking, not the content

if you have a bottle of less than 100ml, it's fine
but there's no point in putting 100ml of alcohol

Why no interest?! ^o)

why do you want to hide 100ml of alcohol?
do you know what 100ml represents?

that’s a bottle of perfume.

Yeah, I was thinking it probably doesn't make much...

If you want to have a few drinks and your preferred alcohol isn't available, you might as well take 5cl miniatures as long as it doesn't exceed 10cl in a 10cl container, it's allowed. Toothpaste, fragrance... alcohol might be that it has to be sealed in a bag if it's over 10cl, but every airport/staff has its own rules, you never know.
