Cursor bug in Video Deluxe 16

Hello,
I recently acquired Magix Video Deluxe 16, and I'm encountering a small problem during editing.
Actually, let's say I want to review a specific moment in the film; I place my cursor at that moment on the timeline, but the video still starts from the beginning of the film, which means I have to rewatch everything (I can't fast forward; the video restarts again if I do).
I didn't have this problem at first; I must have made some sort of mistake, but I can't figure out where...
Thank you in advance for any responses!

The manual for Magix Video Deluxe 15 or 16 needs to be read and understood. I know Magix is not easy to use, but what a joy once it's finished.

I have the same problem that makes me lose a lot of time...
I have to rewatch the video from the beginning each time... It's impossible to start playback in the middle of the project, even when putting markers.
Does anyone have a solution?-

Hello,
I just had the same problem. I asked for advice from a Magix user on their forum and he gave me a solution using the L key to move forward from the cursor, K to stop the cursor where it is, and J to rewind. By repeatedly pressing the L and J keys, you increase the scrolling speed.
I admit I was quite used to the old method, but this one helps to compensate!
Good luck! -
