Hello,
HI5 is a way to recover your Hotmail password.. it retrieves the list of your contacts from your address book and creates a database of addresses to send ads, or backdoor viruses or spyware.. and that.. that's just the "nice" side.. imagine what they could do with your login and password.... use your own messaging to send horrors.. then get into your PC.. steal your confidential data .... and that's just the beginning..!!

    Hello,
I recently did a search on Google about hi5 because a friend of mine invited me to sign up for it, but I don't know what this hi5 is... So I did some research and came across your message. If you allow me, I would like to ask you a question: Can I cancel my registration? (Since I already did it following my friend's advice) And will I still be at risk after I've unregistered? How can I protect my account and my computer?
Thank you in advance, and I hope to hear from you soon.
    See you soon, Ibtissem!

Hi! Well, not being strong at all and moreover being a beginner, I still allow myself to tell you that if it is possible to modify your registration on that famous site or messaging, then go ahead! Cover your tracks and fake your details. Otherwise, change your email address and enable your anti-trojan protections. Also, get The Cleaner 4.1; it's pretty good. That's all I can advise you. I'm also waiting for a response to my question.. Good luck! Bye.

      Good evening,

I just saw your message, I am 33 years old and I want to reassure you about one thing, HI5 is a great site!!! I have been registered for over two years and I have never had any bad surprises.

Moreover, it allows me to stay in touch with my friends and continue to see them evolve in their lives despite the 2000 km that separate us.

PS: any email address can be used to sign up, not just Hotmail (what nonsense)

Don't be misled by baseless rumors because believe me, this site is wonderful for me, without any risk.

It's true that upon reflection, Hi5 is quite strange...
You've been a part of it for so long, can you explain to me why they're asking for the password to our addresses (whether they're hotmail or not)...?
        "Pfff" nonsense!

        Hello!

I use a different password for my hi5 than for my email address. It works really well and that way I don’t have to worry... I have also been registered on Hi5 for a long time and I have never had any issues...

I don't think that a HI5 account is impenetrable, especially for girls who set up secret questions that are quite easy, like the name of their dog or their favorite movie, in their email account.
A friend who knows you can easily crack it, access your email account, send a "forgot password" message for HI5 to your email account, and that's it.
My advice would be to use a different email account from your main one (which contains private data).
Friends, you can never be too careful, especially on the internet; do not delude yourselves.

    Hello to you

For the protection of your MSN, take a look here:

    MSN summary

And when you don't know the sites, avoid going there, even if it's from a friend...
You need to be """HYPER"" vigilant with MSN, it's a sieve for crap........

    See you later

Attention, I didn't want to speak technically, but if you want, sir, I can show you how to open a session on your PC.
The encryption of a text (msg, passwd, id,…) is done through two keys (public key and private key) and thus the exchange of messages and access requests is carried out since the hashing (password) is done knowing the public key and we do not know the private key, but I can show you another exchange scenario without using public keys, such as the example of opening the door of a submarine (subaquatic) without letting water in (famous scenario):
    {
You send a message with your private key only; the message becomes A…
    {
I receive your message, I don’t know your private key, and I add my private key that you don’t know, the message becomes B, and I send it back…
You receive the message B, you know your private key, you can open it since your public key, and you send it back since you opened it with this key without taking into account, the message becomes C and you send it back…
I receive C, I have my private and public key, and I also retrieved your public key, unfortunately for you… and I can do anything with it…

    }
So we can access personal data without sending trojans and vulnerabilities.
    }

For your information, I am an expert in the field; I am a software engineering engineer, and I tried to enter my colleague's PC through a 15-minute discussion with him on MSN to retrieve his photo… and I displayed it in front of him on MSN… and we all wonder why they require you to give the MSN password (valid MSN account) and this is the answer to all your questions...
So don't judge all these reasonable people, all those who know how to protect themselves from accidents before falling into this, one must know how to give advice and that is how one must react like a brave man, a free man who wants to say what he knows to help as much as he can…

Stop overthinking about the site that’s booming!!!!

    HI5 is great!!!!

I’ve been registered for over two years and honestly, I’m not disappointed; my PC is always in perfect condition, I’ve never had a problem, and it allows me to stay in touch with all my friends.

I’m 33 years old, and honestly, if HI5 were a risky site, I would have seen it; I have the experience.

So stop worrying about unfounded things and also stop believing rumors!

France is quite backward in this regard, always afraid of novelty and suspicious; be cool, live stress-free because other countries are well aware of HI5 and it’s a massive success, believe me.

    Hey... rehello!
I just kinda muddled the tracks because I think I didn't do anything right^^
I just changed my account, actually I logged onto the site and then I asked if I could change my email address and I changed it, that’s all apart from that I really don’t know what to do..... what do you think I should do next?
    Thanks for everything
    See you soon

I just understood!! A friend invited me to join her on HI5, I did!! A few days ago I received an email from another friend in her name!! I opened it and found a message from my presumed friend in which he addresses me saying that he found a great site for recipes, giving me the link, and asks me if I know a certain Nina. When I went to the link, I ended up on a porn site containing a virus instead of a cooking site!! Luckily, I have a very good antivirus, Bitfender, that quickly blocked it, but the problem is that this email under the name "high ..." takes over all your contact list and sends this email on your behalf!!!
You can't imagine how embarrassing it is to have to explain afterwards, especially to your parents!!!
So be cautious!! One more thing, if you receive this email, do not reply at all, because it also uses this way to spread!
    You're never safe!
    Kisses to all

I just discovered this site too... I find it funny for now! To grow my community... to share... (I'll see later if I have any issues).
Anyway, I want to clarify: NEVER can a person registered on this site contact you directly! Hi5 sends you an email to notify you that you have mail or received an action (Five assignment...). In any case, registration can be done with any email address (hotmail or others!), maybe even a fake one... To follow your account, you just need to log in again to check your mail or other requests! Plus, you are not required to use the same password as your personal email!
As for Sana's issue, it's a well-known virus... In fact, your friend probably has a virus on her PC that has taken over her address book to send emails containing viruses to all her contacts in her name! It has nothing to do with Hi5, I assure you.
Personally, I prefer the definition given here: https://forums.studyrama.com/topic/774-hi5/
Maybe see you soon on Hi5...

Don't be paranoid, hi5 is legit, and since it has an international title like MySpace and other interactive systems of the sort, it would have been locked up a long time ago if it were stealing Hotmail passwords! Plus, knowing that it has its own password, I wonder how it could steal your Hotmail password lol seriously, don't be paranoid all the time, do your research before making such nonsense... There are also other platforms like hi5 that serve to create friend lists and all; personally, I still recommend only signing up for one like that, otherwise it takes too much management time and you end up getting lost a bit!! Happy surfing everyone!

Dear friend, I find myself obliged to tell you that your remarks are quite worrying and exaggerated, especially for those who want to sign up for this hi5 site. I have never received an unpleasant message, let alone a spam message from the site you are discrediting.

On the other hand, YAHOO is really bothering me with its spam and advertising messages. So, if you really want to help us, please direct your smear campaign towards YAHOO regarding its advertising messages that some do not want.

I have only been signed up for a short time and I believe it is a way to make friends and expand one's community. So, as others have said, please do not be paranoid. It’s a good site, I feel comfortable there, and every day I log in is a day of pure happiness. So just relax and be COOL.

Attention, you really need to disconnect from this site; it is dangerous. This site can recover your password and thus access your secrets and MSN address book, potentially opening a session on your PC and seeing your entire world. I am directing this advice to my wife Assoumaf.

Honestly, stay there and study a bit. Don't rely on what others say because it'll end up like the email on Hotmail that will soon close its web doors... Seriously, come on! Think about what you're saying. If you don't like a site, let others discover it. Plus, I repeat, I keep meeting people from my neighborhood. It's pretty cool, right? Think about it!

    Thank you for your response,
uh.... I have to admit that I'm pretty bad with computers, and what you're telling me, well I understand it but I have to change accounts, right? Uh....... the problem is that I'm wondering how I'm going to cover my tracks!!! And how to do it...!!!
As for anti-trojan protection (I think they're called trojan horses, right?), I have no idea whether I have any on my PC, I had an antivirus called Norton Antivirus but I stopped using it because it wasn't doing anything... and then I installed another one called PC Cillin but I really don't know, uh... what to do. I told you I'm rather uh... out of my depth with computers^^
Thank you anyway for your response!
    See you soon, Ibtissem

Hello everyone. I've been using HI5 for 2 years now and I've never sent out all the invitations. At one point during your registration, you arrive on a page with your MSN contact list, but there is a big BUT because YOU choose who will receive the request... I only sent 3 requests via email. The rest I met through HI5 and asked via the site itself. Whoever says that HI5 is just a site trying to replace MSN... honestly bold... because then there would be millions of chat and dating sites wanting to do the same.
I've got way too much to say about HI5 but I'm not here to advertise for them.

Try it and read until the end, observe... don't rely on the opinions of others...

    Hello.

I have the same problem as Marwa; when I click on "message," I can't read them, the page doesn't appear, and I go back to the homepage. I have the same issue when I try to send a message on hi5.

Thank you in advance for your responses.

HI5 is an internationally recognized site, and there is no risk in being registered there.
If there is a risk, it comes from your computer, and in that case, you have just as much chance of seeing your passwords stolen on Hi5 as on Yahoo Mail or Hotmail or anything else.

You need to stop with the two-cent paranoia; otherwise, you should stop checking your emails because you have to enter your passwords on your computer.

I just want to tell those who are worried about HI5 that it is not necessary to give your Hotmail password, but it is enough to just create one.

    Hello,
I got "caught" by Hi5 today. I've been wasting my time for 3 hours trying to delete my account using their instructions: "We're sorry to hear that you're thinking of leaving hi5. In order to cancel your account first log in at www.hi5.com. Then click on "Account" on the top right corner of your home page. At the bottom of the page that appears, you will see a link that says "Cancel My Account". Click on this link and follow the instructions. ..... " I've clicked on Cancel My Account at least 10 times but nothing works. The problem might be that I work on a Mac, I don't know, but I can't understand anything. I'm really fed up!!! I received the invite from a friend. Happy to hear from her, and after searching on Google what Hi5 was, I thought, well, it's innocent, and since my friend is abroad, I was happy to have a contact!
Unfortunately, she didn’t send the invitation. Hi5 did! She must have apologized to quite a few people!

I see that you've been talking about this issue since October 10, 2005... if Hi5 really wanted to be just a nice group that brings people together, they would change their page to prevent these invites that have been circulating for a long time! This site should be better regulated by certain legislations. Freedom stops when others abuse us. And I still can't get rid of this damn Hi5 account!

And what if we decided to stop living in the virtual world a bit? Isn't the real world outside more interesting?

If anyone can help me with my problem, that would be great!

Oh help!!!! Seriously, I'm not into computers. I just manage with a mouse, a screen, and a brain, so what you're telling me... don't worry, I just stumbled upon your comment by chance, and to tell you everything, it was while searching for this site I'm registered on! My computer is old and slow, it's already about to give up, so there you go. I hope they won't do anything with all this armada of undeserved nastiness^^. Kisses and thanks for the info, see you later, but now that it's done, it's too late; they have my password... :(

I'm sorry, but we have to stop talking about this site the way you do!!!
I've been registered for two years and I've never had a problem. Moreover, for me, it's the nicest friendship community site, a wonderful site that allows me to stay in touch with my friends; I feel closer to them and I log in every day.....

Additionally, there is a link on it that allows you to contact HI5's customer service in case of errors or abuse.
