Hello everyone,
I recently installed Windows Service Pack 1 and the installation crashed at the end. So far, nothing serious since I was able to redo it right after.
However, my network card driver has disappeared; it now shows up as ? Ethernet Controller, and I can't find the driver anywhere...
Before that, the driver was the generic one for XP, Realtek Rtl 8029 (AS). My network card is a sn3200ct (that's all I could find).
I tried the driver from the Realtek website, reinstalling from %Windir%/INF, searching for the driver on the Windows CD, and nothing worked... I'm getting desperate because I no longer have internet, which is really bothering me...
Hoping someone can help me
thanks in advance

Hello
Do you have the CD for your motherboard? If so, install all the drivers for your motherboard.
If not, take the reference of your board (exact brand and model) and go to the manufacturer's website to download and install the drivers.
If you don’t know the reference of your board, download and install Everest, which will give you all the specifications of your machine.

Another solution (if you have internet access with this PC):
Go to the TouslesDrivers.com website: https://www.touslesdrivers.com/index.php?v_page=29
Launch the detection.
It will likely install a plug-in (ma config.com).
Then after detection, it will offer you a series of drivers for your computer.
Choose the one for your network card (ethernet, lan...)
Good luck
See you later
