Hello, when I had Windows Vista with Windows Mail, I used to send emails from my Windows contacts. I would go to the contacts directory and right-click on the contact, then choose action followed by send a message. Windows Mail would open with the selected contact as the recipient. Since I have Windows 7 with Windows Live Mail, when I click send a message, I get the following error: "There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if an email program is already installed, create an association in the Control Panel Default Programs."

I would like to know how to create this association, because I have associated everything with Windows Live Mail, but it still doesn't work.

Thank you

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.3

Hi, you have the answer in your question: go to default programs "associate a type or protocol with a program."

Hello,

How do we know the file type or the protocol to associate with the program?
I am having trouble with the Fonebook software.
Thank you
