Hello, I have the same problem as VALRAY 65. C6180 was working well under XP and I have issues with Vista where I can't scan and when I go to HP, there’s no trace of the printer. Thank you for any possible help. New to the forum

This is the driver that I downloaded. In fact, the first time it reached 96%, I got a message related to TrayApp that I resolved. Now it gets to 96% but I only have the HP Product Assistant and no solution center for scanning. In other words, there's no trace of PHOTOSMART C6100 SERIES. Thank you.

To make it easier for others who might interact with the Post, please try to respond under the latest Post rather than in your initial post whenever possible.
Regarding your problem, if you have the installation CD for the software, run it in compatibility mode with XP:
