Hello,
I recently changed the motherboard of a faulty PC, and since then I haven't been able to reduce the speed of the CPU fan despite all the attempts in the BIOS!
ASROCK 785G motherboard for AMD socket 939.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
Thanks for your responses

If the temperature is okay, that’s the main thing.
We can't adjust the fan speed; we can only turn off the machine if the temperature gets too high.
Why do you think it's spinning too fast?
- Is it making noise? (maybe a power cord is brushing against something inside).
Have you tried the other FAN (number 13, at the bottom right of the board above the tower connection, but it won't change anything)? -
I don't think it's possible.
Did you properly attach the radiator block?
Did you apply thermal paste correctly? -
Thank you for your reply, but I have changed the thermal paste and the heatsink is well secured. The fan is running very fast and in the BIOS the temperature is okay.
