Hello everyone,

Since today at around 4:00 PM, a purple line has been appearing horizontally across my television. I don't know why, and I really need help to figure out the problem and if it can be resolved....
(here's some info about the TV just in case: LCD TV, 83cm, Grandin)

Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Windows XP / Safari 532.5

Thank you for your responses, I didn't know it was that serious.... It's a TV that I got on sale, even if I get refunded, I won't be able to buy an identical one again.

    hi
but I think you need to go to a repair shop (because this is a problem due to the scanning circuit or magnetization)

    Good evening dipan871
without being a TV technician, it seems like quite a bad sign, and the TV business is not designed for them to be repaired (considering the value of the technical issue)

    Hello!

I think your pixels are fried, try using a really strong magnet and pass it over the purple line very gently!
You need a very powerful magnet, otherwise it won't work! This operation will reactivate your pixels... Be careful, this manipulation should not be done when the pixels are intact, because otherwise it will deactivate them (this is logical!).
I hope I could help you!
Goodbye and have a nice evening...

It seems quite risky, doesn't it? Because I might touch pixels that aren't burnt out. But thanks for the help ^^

Yes, but it might be possible if the screen took a little hit.

Yes, but in fact I don't even know why she does that. There wasn't any problem with the TV being turned off too abruptly, for example.
