I'm back on your site; I had a problem before, so it's unfortunate I'm here again!
Anyway, I received calls from 00000000, I don't have a voicemail, but I see on my phone that it was displayed
Anyway,
earlier I saw 0000000 again and since I was there and curious, I picked up, and a woman's voice (Asian accent) told me, so I thought it's a marketing thing, then she talked about an EDF technician who needs to come by. I said no, I'm not interested, and she replied rudely, well, that technician will come anyway and it will be chargeable, and too bad for you!
So here I am, panicking! What do you think?

same problem and a voicemail tells me to hold on and that I will be connected to my contact!!!!! even though it's him who is calling!!! thank you for your help

Thank you for your response, but it made me smile. The same happened to me; I also had a lady with an accent. I kindly told her I wasn't interested, she insisted, I gently repeated my refusal, and after a while, I became a bit more curt, and then she told me it's too bad for me, it would be chargeable!
It's frustrating, but now I either don't pick up or I pretend to be someone nice, lol.

I called my operator (Bouygues Telecom) to report that I had not given permission to disclose my number.
They replied that they had signed a confidentiality charter and therefore were not allowed to disclose it.
As if by chance, after calling them, these calls stopped; cause and effect, you decide! But you have nothing to lose by complaining to your operator.
Otherwise, be careful if you give your number when signing up on online shopping sites!
