Hello,
I would like to know what encrypting means and please tell me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that it means "to set a password," right??

    Hello,

    Not encrypting does not mean putting a password. The meaning is to modify/transform the data so that it is unreadable without decoding.

    For example, on the disk, the word "computer science" will be stored in a form like "i8ekdà-9". This data will only be readable through encryption/decryption software, and this encryption operation will require a password that can be used for encoding.
